Four other teens were injured.

Nino Segura was taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, where he died, the State Patrol said.

The four other men injured in the crash were taken to Sioux City’s Mercy Medical Center. The State Patrol identified them as Oscar Ramirez, Christian Bruce and Felix Lemeus, all 18 and of Sioux City, and Juan Munoz, 19, of Sloan, Iowa.

Bruce was treated at the hospital and released, and Munoz was in good condition Monday night, a hospital spokeswoman said. The conditions of the other teens were unavailable.

Ramirez was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer on a Woodbury County road about two miles northeast of Sioux City. The southbound sport utility vehicle went out of control, went into the east ditch and rolled in an adjoining pasture, the State Patrol said.

Segura was thrown from the vehicle.

A State Patrol report did not note whether any of the Explorer’s occupants were using seat belts.

The Chevy suburban and Honda sedan crashed around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday on Baseline Road at Cherry Avenue.

The suburban, carrying the three brothers, left the road and crashed into a power pole. Two of the brothers died at the scene, another died in the hospital.

Their names have not been released, but the coroner identified the men as a 35-year-old male from Rancho Cucamonga, a 39-year-old male from Bloomington, and a 37-year-old male from Fontana.

Noah Ferrer, 11, who was a passenger inside the Honda, died in surgery.

The Fontana Police Department is investigating the crash.

The SUV swerved in order to miss the other car. This caused the Camry to over correct and driver to lose control of the vehicle. It then rolled off the right side of the road and land on its roof. Another vehicle then cut in front of them and the driver of this vehicle hit his brakes, lost control, the vehicle swerved off to the right and rolled as reported by the police.

A lady in her mid 30’s was ejected from the SUV and suffered fatal injuries to the head and neck. Officials say the lady was one of nine people in the car that was passing through Utah as they traveled to Washington State. The woman was not wearing a seatbelt but the other passengers in the vehicle were buckled. Four children were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Utah law allows other passengers to be in a car as long as all seatbelts are being used, so the family will not be issued a citation. The woman who cut the SUV off has not yet been charged.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety 13-year-old Nancy Alvarez was killed in the single-vehicle crash that injured five others.

Authorities said the teenager and family members were in a 2003 GMC sport utility vehicle returning to Canutillo, Texas after visiting relatives in Arizona when the SUV left the road and rolled at 11:11 a.m. Sunday while driving on Interstate 10 near Cortaro Road.

Police said driver Abigail Garay, 28, and passengers Ashley Alvarez, 11, Celeste Alvarez, 15, and Jocabed Alvarez, 36, all received minor injuries. Passenger Maria Arias, 78, was hospitalized with serious injuries.

An investigation continues to determine the cause of the crash.

The vehicle crashed at milemarker 208, about three miles outside of Silverthorne, sending seven individuals to the hospital, two of which were ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle was heading west.

Steve Lipsher, spokesman for Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue, said it was unknown whether the other two passengers formally declined medical treatment or whether they didn’t need it.

Lipsher nor the Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman could say whether the individuals were in life-threatening or stable condition when they left for the hospital.

ROSINTON, Alabama — A 45-year-old Spanish Fort woman was killed Saturday evening in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 10 in eastern Baldwin County, Alabama State Troopers said.

Two children, a 13-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, were injured, spokesman Trooper Greg Eubanks said.

The woman was identified as Angela Stephens. Eubanks said she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Olivia Stephens and Alex Stephens, also of Spanish Fort, were airlifted from the scene to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Pensacola, Eubanks said.

The accident took place about 5:30 p.m. east of the Wilcox Road exit in eastern Baldwin County, about 10 miles west of the Florida state line.

According to Eubanks, Stephens was westbound on I-10 in a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe when the SUV left the road and went into the median, where it overturned several times.

Eubanks said Stephens, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the SUV as it rolled, and the vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

The children were not thrown from the vehicle during the wreck, Eubanks said. A nursing spokesman at Sacred Heart said both children were released from the hospital Sunday.
